  1. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lehigh County Pennsylvania by Mitchell Merritt: The crew I worked with to get my panels installed were great, we discussed how many were actually needed and they handled the discussion with my provider to get that set up. a year in now and i've gotten a few calls when their monitoring showed that my panels weren't producing as much as they expected, and we got those sorted out easily. overall, i'd recommend them
  2. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lehigh County Pennsylvania by Matt & Rachel Sanger: We had a great experience with Lumina Solar and Jack Wood as our Project Manager. Jack was friendly, knowledgeable, responsive, and helped us from start to finish. We considered multiple solar companies, but the presentation, product, and warranties offered by Lumina were far superior. Within a few weeks, our panels were installed, and the installers were equally friendly and professional. We could not be happier with our solar panels and are so glad we went with Lumina Solar.
  3. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lehigh County Pennsylvania by verghese cherian: Lumina Solar did a great job with the installation of the solar panels at our place. Chris Richardson was exceptionally brilliant going thru the plan and explaining the process, installation and what to expect after installation. They got all the necessary permits, etc. Verghese Hummelstown, PA
  4. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lehigh County Pennsylvania by Erik Normark: Lumina installed our solar panels about 2 years ago, and the system has been humming along ever since without a single issue. Very knowledgeable representative who helped us through the whole process. Installation was very well done, and everything is working as designed.
  5. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lehigh County Pennsylvania by Christopher Pini: We love our solar system! Works great. Super easy to monitor. Peter was the project manager, he explained things well and was always available throughout the process.
  6. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lehigh County Pennsylvania by tim brodhead: Going solar is something I’ve thought about for years and finally decided to act on it. Jevon Ciciliot, my salesman reached out to me and drove all the way up to my house to discuss further and come up with a game plan with the most efficient system possible. Jevon was polite, respectful, professional, and knowledgeable. With such a major investment, naturally there are a ton of questions. Jevon was able to answer and explain everything in a way that doesn’t make your head spin. He also presented and carried himself like a friend that I’ve known for years. Jevon was always available to answer any questions that inevitably pop up and would get back to me promptly regardless of how busy his schedule may be. Once it came time for installation, the install crew also carried themselves professionally and worked quickly. I was told it was a 2 full day job to complete but they were done in a day and a half without any mistakes. They kept me in the loop throughout the install so I always knew how things were going. And most importantly they didn’t leave any mess behind once they were done. Overall I had an excellent experience.
  7. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lehigh County Pennsylvania by Bob Steckbeck: Our project for moving to solar energy involved six different companies who install solar panels. Using the information I learned from my personal research on the topic, a questionnaire I configured to pull out the details from each company, and a spreadsheet where I was able to store both objective and subjective information I was able to get a quick summary of the information and data I received from each company and do a visual comparison. Knowing which manufacturers produce the best solar panels and microinverters, and which products the installation companies use in their systems are certainly major factors in making the final decision. But reading detailed reviews from their clients and discussing the facts with the sales person should play an important part in the process. I found Christopher Richardson, our sales person, to be both knowledgeable and forthcoming in the information he provided. After looking at all the pieces from the potential installers I found that Lumina stood out both in terms of using top-rated equipment and simplifying the process through to the time of activation. My work as a customer ended at the point at which we selected Lumina and signed our contract. Afterwards their team carried the project to site survey, obtaining all necessary permits, installing the panels and electrical equipment, working with our local power supplier, and setting up warranties and certificates. In our observation we found that all employees of Lumina (salesman, system engineers and designers, schedulers, installation and inspection teams and project administrator) worked together seamlessly. We are now truly basking in the sun and seeing our solar production meet and exceed our electrical consumption.
  8. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lehigh County Pennsylvania by J: Lumina Solar was absolutely amazing from the beginning and even after installation. Peter was great and made sure we were 100% informed of everything and kept us in the loop throughout the entire process. The installation team of Ryan, Nate, Josh, Cameron, and Titus were incredible and very professional. Lumina Solar is the only company that I would purchase Solar from. You will not be disappointed.
  9. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lehigh County Pennsylvania by Chris Stoltzfus: When I was looking to go solar I had done a few quotes and designs with different companies. Lumina came in with not only the best pricing for the work, but the best design plan for the area as well. Jack knew his stuff and had a base design already done that showed estimates based on previous sun data and satellite pictures. We were able to determine taking out some trees could improve performance and which ones could stay. We had to do some back and forth with the electric company to get started which was the biggest hassle. There was a lack of communication from electric on getting us approvals and information if the system we planned was allowed. After 5 months they told us it wasn't and that we would need to pay to have a upgraded transformer installed. They then took another month to tell us a price before we said no and we down sized to what was allowed based on the current grid. By far this was the biggest headache but was in no part Lumina Solar's fault. Once we knew what we were allowed we went back and designed a system that would work. Permits and paperwork went pretty quickly after we got electric company to sign off. Due to the weather there was a little delay in getting install started but the team that came out did fantastic work. The hardest challenge for the installers was dealing with my old house's thick walls, (18inches plus a little empty space before another wall) but after determining what was needed they came back and managed to get the hole drilled. They were able to answer any questions I had along the way for the project and provided insight into other questions I had as well. On the roof install side of things, things went smoothly. A couple of the snow guards got broken but they ordered in new ones and replaced them without a hassle. The full Lumina team worked very well together and were always professional. I have recommended them to others and would do so again. Can't wait to see just how well the system works.
  10. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Lehigh County Pennsylvania by John D: I'm probably one of the pickier customers a contractor can have and I look for excellence in service and product every step of the way. Even though the pre-planning for the job was executed well and was organized issues arose during the completion of the work. This is when I look for exceptional response because problems occur with anything we do it's how the problems are addressed that makes all the difference to me. Lumina Solar has a staff who are dedicated to ensuring the job is installed correctly and professionally. Even though there were bumps in the road the tradesman did not stop until every little detail was handled. Many companies would just say "Good enough will do" but not Lumina they persisted until the job was completed exactly to the specification quoted. Kudos to Lumina for being a customer centric company!
  • Sun course variations throughout the year
  • Microclimates triggered by neighboring buildings and foliage
  • Optimal panel tilt and orientation to optimize energy capture
  • Integration with existing electrical systems

Anecdotally, a homeowner in Bucks County once thought a shaded yard was unsuitable for solar. Lumina's team showed how strategic placement on an eastern roofing system section could still record sufficient sunlight, turning hesitation into enjoyment.

Expert Tips for Solar Style Success

  1. Conduct a comprehensive site evaluation at various times of the day to identify shading problems.
  2. Use advanced simulation software to anticipate energy output over seasons, not simply bright days.
